Watching Sports Personality of the Year on the BBC last night I was much amused by one line.
The gold medal Olympic swimmer Rebecca Adlington, while making a thank you speech, was heard to utter the words.....
"I wouldn't be here without my parents"
No sh*t Sherlock!!!
Yes, I know what she meant but it still tickled me!
