'Speed me towards death' - gemmak drives Stelvio pass
Two posts today, this one, a little movie put together in true Fletch style of my Stelvio Pass driving exploits..... and below our time in the Swiss Alps :o)

I remember you saying it was foggy that day.. Good Lord... I would never do this on a motorcycle. Ok, I *might*, but not in rain, for sure. It IS quite beautiful, though.
Almost as good as a Top Gear assignment. Can't beat a winding continental road for scenery and brill video opportunities.
Excellent memories for you and an eye opener for us.
This is the original version isn't it? I'm sure it is because in the director's cut version which was only available on Blu Ray there was a gun battle with a crooked cop (played by Kevin Costner) halfway down the pass and the alternate ending where the tunnel opens out into a spaceship disguised as a mountain.
Brilliant! Keith says, next year, would you like to do it again driving our RV? :)
OMG!!! Brown Pants request!! Chances of me ever doing that pass are thankfully non exsistent!!! But it sure shows some beautifull views

Silverback: Lol...the car wasn't quite a top gear top model...a Lotus would have been perfect for the corners! ;o)
Jenny: Funny he should mention that...there is a distinct possibility next year of us doing it in a 22' RV!...long story, won't be quite the same on the cornering speed tho! heh
