What superb photos! They are excellent.
Great piccies, were you really as near to the swan as it seems, 'cos Rob and I take Louis down to the park (to give them any odds and ends)which is not far away and the swans there are quite vicious they really get up close and personal and they like to get a quick nip at yer person should you get too close......
wow great photos. It made me giggle a bit. The first one - normal - second - has an itch - third - really scrathing - forth - ok the itch is somewhere a bit rude. lol

Kate: Yes, I was that close but I had spent the previous hour approaching this particular swan and talking to it gently....the rest was luck and a good natured swan. They are capable of breaking an arm if they get really miffed but life is a risk! heh.
