Frosted berries

There I was, out at minus 4.5 degrees at some unearthly hour this morning, clad only in a t-shirt and trousers for fear that in the time it would take to get dressed suitably, the frost might melt......it's late afternoon now, the temperature never made it above freezing and the frost has been in evidence all day. Damn it was cold!
