If ever there was proof that Amy Winehouse is struggling in her attempts to sort her life out it has to be this video she posted on YouTube yesterday, showing herself and Pete Doherty talking with thirty baby mice.

Being an old rocker at heart, I hadn't paid much attention to Winehouse. Then I saw her in concert on the tube, and was amazed at her bluesy, soulful voice.
Unfortunately, she appears to have graduated magna cum laude from "International University of Stupid".
This woman gives train wrecks a bad name . . . also hairdressers.

I agree, Gemmak, I too think she is very talented and it does make her situation all the more tragic.

The template is the old version, the new won't allow such a degree of 'faffing'...in fact it's very limited in that respect and what it does offer I don't want so I stuck with 'classic'. If they remove the option I'll go elsewhere ;o)
To excuse her off-stage conduct on the basis she has talent is the same as saying that Genghis Khan was good to his mother.
When you are looking at the vid, you will see her eyes slide over to one side. I suspect there is a monitor there and she is checking for effect. With regard to her and Dopey Dick getting together, I'll support that if it keeps him away from my WILF Kate.

Heh, I saw this video and quite frankly, no surprises to see her getting her freak on with piped-up-Pete. Pete is actually a genius who is ruined/sustained by drug addictions. Amy is...well, she's just Amy. If you look at the YouTube account that posted the videos it appears to be Pete Docherty's own YouTube account and there is a video on there of Amy accompanying her 12 year old God-daughter. There is a comment on there that says it all:
"Quick little girl, run from the crack-heads".
The Winemouse video reminds me of personally dark times in the 1990s and I know how messed up they are in that video. Someone needs to give them a helping hand and lead the back towards the light. Trust me, it's not a one-way street and when you turn around you find that the other side is much more attractive.
Everyone is allowed to touch the dark side - as long as they come back with a cautionary tale.
i have to say when i saw a clip of this it totally freaked me out at first as i thought it was a very tiny baby and i had to look away until my hubby said it was a mouse.
What freaks.
